The Role 

Under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing a comprehensive brand marketing strategy for both US and Canadian markets, including but not limited to traditional & digital media, experiential marketing, PR, and retail marketing. The Associate Marketing Manager is also responsible for assisting with innovation launches that generate brand awareness, excitement and trial, and drive profitable growth for the brand. As a change contributor, influencer, and brand marketer, you will be responsible for helping build a strategic vision, setting the agenda, and ensuring strength of our plans to deliver both short-term and long-term results.

  • Partner with Senior Marketing Manager to develop omni-channel marketing mix to grow brand awareness and build brand equity in both US and Canada.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute ideas across various marketing vehicles such as OTT, digital      media, PR, experiential marketing, POS, retail marketing, and more.
  • Develop detailed and strategic creative briefs  to ensure cross-functional alignment on campaign objectives and consistent      in-market creative execution
  • Work with the analytics team to provide recaps, key business results and actionable insights and recommendations for marketing campaigns.
  • Support new product innovations with submitting  creative briefs for packaging, and developing both consumer and in-store      marketing strategies to support launch.
  • Support new product innovations with managing sales samples – logistics and execution.
  • Manage ongoing projects timelines, accuracy of the deliverables, communication with outside vendors, cross-functional      teams and respective P/L.
  • Partner with Sales team to develop and execute unique retail marketing programs for key accounts to increase velocity and drive trial for both in-store and brick+mortar.com
  • Develop sales support tools, including but not limited to presentations with product/campaign details
  • Serve as a partner to Senior Marketing Manager in brand planning, campaign tracking, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships and execution for coupons, including clearinghouse and rebate apps.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Attend trade shows and consumer events to support brand and business objectives.
  • Monitor and report monthly on competitors, including new product introductions, pricing, and marketing, and continually research new product and brand trends.
  • Supports marketing team with ongoing Admin requests, such as but not limited to helping to manage storage units, packing product samples and mailers, cutting PO’s, coordinate shipments.

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of brand marketing experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) is preferred
  • BA degree in Marketing or related field
  • Understanding of holistic brand marketing and new product innovations, including trade marketing, retail marketing, e-commerce, and route-to-market strategies
  • Excellent project management, budget management,  and communication skills
  • Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking abilities, and highly organized
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and  ability to multi-task is a must
  • Ability to deliver on commitments and work across all levels of the organization with confidence
  • Passion for understanding consumer behavior
  • Passion for marketing, branding, and communication strategies.

Salary Description

$80,000-$100,000/Annually + Bonus + Equity
