We’re looking for a Channel Marketing Manager, Consumer to join our Consumer business in the Vietnam and this role is based in our Ho Chi Minh City office.

As a Channel Marketing Manager, Consumer, you will define and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for the trade channel covering wholesales and other important partners, modern trade and e-commerce customers in close cooperation with sales – Account Managers, MarCom and Product Marketing team.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop the marketing plan that requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of channel marketing principles, theories and concepts.
  • More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
  • Analyze the market dynamics based on benchmark insights on market, customer & competition.
  • Identify insights, need gaps of end customers and wholesalers
  • Develop and execute clear channel specific strategy for traditional trade, modern trade and e-commerce channels
  • Drives portfolio optimization for a specific channel, ability to set clear commercial terms for the channels and segments
  • Plans, executes and measures marketing activities in channel, ability to design and execute channel programs, flawless execution of new products introduction in the market, in depth understanding of merchandising, execute consumer promotions.
  • Analyze distribution gaps, reach/need for partner addition and opportunities for different product portfolios
  • Develops sustainable relationships with customers and partners by triggering an effective and profound dialogue with a win-win mindset (profitable solutions for all). Gains credibility by creating positive long-term impact
  • Identifies problems in a channel performance and comes up with solutions that can mitigate the issues collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Monitors new product introductions in the market, analyze retail audit reports and plan actions basis the same.
  • Measures ROI of investment done in channel marketing activations


Your qualifications:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in Consumer marketing / Trade marketing experience is required
  • 3+ years in market/customer facing operations involving different go-to-market models
  • Strong in managing design and production of channel-specific marketing support materials with ability to maintain creativity and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business operations, marketing principles and management skills and techniques.
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Business Management / Marketing or related studies
  • Advanced level experience with MS PowerPoint and preferably knowledge of ERP systems like SAP is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Vietnamese language
  • Full legal authority to work in Vietnam without the need for sponsorship
