Communications & Social Media Manager

Create digital marketing strategies to help attract new salons and end consumers, in addition to increasing the loyalty of current customers through interesting digital content. Nurture a strong industry network and increase brand awareness through the development and execution of effective communications and media relations programs.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement an annual strategic communication plan with a focus on social networks, press and events for the promotion and dissemination of corporate content, marketing and education.
  • Responsible for managing and optimizing the brand’s social media channels, as well as planning activities designed to create/maintain a favorable public image and increase the level of brand awareness.
  • Develop/maintain social media profiles and quality content, ensuring that the content to be published is attractive, diverse and trendy, aligned with the philosophy and objectives of the brand and reaching the greatest possible number of views according to the target, achieving constant growth in said scope.
  • Adapt the strategy and development of the brand’s personality and digital community according to HQ guidelines.
  • Create/coordinate the production of content in various formats: social media posts, press releases, invitations, newsletters, internal videos or for the brand’s channels, photographs, support in online events or webinars, inbound marketing, to support Marketing and other functions, in the promotion of campaigns, events, etc. in accordance with brand strategies.
  • Perform actions aimed at increasing the visibility of the brand in online and offline media, creating a strong community, generating traffic in all digital channels.
  • Define clear KPIs, monitor, collect and analyze data recurrently and share the results and learnings internally in the organization with a focus on optimization and growth.
  • Build a brand community by leading public relations with clients, press, magazines, bloggers, personalities and influencers with a results-oriented objective.
  • Coordinate the PR agency by establishing clear objectives, prioritizing the increase in brand visibility and impact, as well as generally supporting sales achievements and brand recognition to the end consumer.
  • Support sales in presentations/training with clients.
  • Develop and implement customer service response to common questions/complaints and a complaint resolution process. Manage crisis and emergency communications.

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Have completed Higher Education Studies in marketing, communication and advertising or related.
  • Have proven experience and solid work knowledge in social media management, press management and public relations.
  • Experience in launching digital campaigns, email marketing, social media. Advanced knowledge of the latest digital tools for content management on social networks.
  • Analytical capacity and skill in choosing and interpreting the most appropriate indicators to assess the success of actions and their profitability.
  • Work closely with Marketing Management to develop, maintain and implement a digital content strategy in support of key organizational initiatives, awarness and products.
  • Understand the Business to Business (B2B) reality to manage communication and digital support for end consumers, as well as professional clients (hairdressers).
  • Be able to manage a variety of simultaneous activities in a dynamic environment, working to deadlines and on multiple tasks/project management.
  • Excellent proactive interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • English language proficiency is essential.
