SUMMARY:

As Nexamp’s Community Engagement Manager, you will identify, develop and build strategic partnerships with non-profits, community organizations, and local governments to help increase access to community solar in underserved communities.  At Nexamp, we are dedicated to ensuring that the benefits of community solar are available to anyone who wants to participate, regardless of income or credit score. You will help build and manage a network of partners that will assist in ensuring that people with the greatest financial needs get access to savings generated by participating in community solar.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner outreach and generation 

  • Manage partnerships with entities that serve low to moderate-income households in our active markets. 
  • Analyze outreach performance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Establish best practices on how to best foster key partnerships. 

 Outreach Campaign Planning and Execution 

  • Drive the regional strategy for enrolling low-income households in each market and meet project deadlines and departmental goals. 
  • Create co-developed, innovative, and tailored outreach campaigns that drive high-quality leads to the Inside Sales team. 
  • Manage third-party direct outreach partners, local outreach staff, or volunteers. 
  • Use Customer Relationship Management tools and techniques to manage relationships.  
  • Analyze campaign performance and iterate approach based on results. 
  • Lead or assist in outreach events and presentations.  

 Process and Product Improvement 

  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve low-to-moderate income customer experience.  
  • Maintain internal resources for low to moderate-income customer management. 
  • Work with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve the benefits that low-to-moderate households receive from Nexamp. 

 Partner Research and Generation

  • Research potential partner and identify key contacts 
  • Generate potential partner leads  

 Other 

  • Enroll large off takers, such as non-profits and housing providers, as the opportunity arises.  
  • Serve as an internal advocate for low-to-moderate income households. 
  • Ideate and implement new ways for Nexamp to better serve community partners & low-income households. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years previous experience working in channel partnerships, community outreach partnerships, partnership marketing or direct sales.  
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and execute projects or campaigns in partnership with a third-party partner  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partner relationships projects or campaigns that result in increased engagement or sales   
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and execute multiple projects and/or campaigns simultaneously 
  • Ability to analyze campaign or project performance and provide recommendations for improvement.  
  • Previous experience working directly with households or consumer products. Experience with underserved or energy/environmental justice communities preferred 
  • Previous experience in, or strong familiarity of, community solar preferred 
  • Valid and current Driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% if required
