Every Man Jack is a leader in the natural men’s grooming space in the United States, with a presence across major national retailers like Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and Amazon. Born at the base of Mt. Tam in Marin County, CA, the company’s Base Camp is in Mill Valley, CA, just north of the Golden Gate bridge. Considering a host of recent initiatives – including our Antiperspirant launch, significant retail distribution opportunities, and high growth e-commerce initiatives – there is truly no shortage of exciting projects for the Every Man Jack team.



Every Man Jack is looking for a detail-oriented, consumer-obsessed, and creative storyteller to join our collaborative marketing team. The Copywriter will ultimately be the brand steward responsible for bringing the brand voice to life through writing, editing, and proofing creative copy across multiple touch points.



  • Work cross-functionally to write copy for new product and innovation including product naming and packaging
  • Lead the brand voice and tone copy development
  • Collaborate on developing 360 campaign copy and taglines
  • Develop digital copy including omni, website, social posts, e-mails, and blogs
  • Craft and edit press releases
  • Develop communications for event collateral and in-store displays
  • Develop internal communications
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and high quality
  • Actively contribute to the brainstorm and development of new ideas
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes to optimize and streamline copy development
  • Create polished, final deliverables
  • Promote Every Man Jack’s purpose to inspire men to take care of themselves and connect to the world around them by living the EMJ values and considering the social and environmental impact of all business decisions that you own or support



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at an agency or in-house at a CPG, wellness, or beauty brand
  • Mastery of written communication
  • Ability to translate brand standards into compelling, consumer-based copy that fits with the media or medium
  • Proven creative ability
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Collaborative in nature, but able to drive teams forward
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and stay on-top of timelines
  • Ability to actively contribute to brainstorms, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
  • Proficient in G-Suite



Candidates must be passionate, organized, and love developing personal care, grooming, or skin care products. This person is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. While this candidate loves timelines and getting organized, this person has a remarkable ability to remain calm and flexible in the fast-paced, changing world of product development in a high growth environment. The ideal candidate will be an intelligent team player – someone approachable with a positive, innovative and professional attitude who works smarter, not harder and takes on a “sleeves-rolled-up” and a “can-do” attitude when faced with challenges. A true ambassador for EMJ, both internally and externally.

Competitive Base Salary $90K-$105K DOE, Annual Bonus Potential, Long Term Incentive Plan, 100% EE + 80% Dependents Covered Medical, Dental, Vision. Life Insurance, STD/LTD. 401(k) with Match, No Vesting Period. 20 Vacation Days, up to 9 Sick Days accrued, 11 Paid Holidays.
