Greetings, dear potential Cheeky Panda team member!

One of the UK’s top 100 start-ups has been on quite the journey, starting from Chris and Julie’s spare bedroom over 7 years ago. We truly began from the “bottom,” but fuelled by a deep love for our planet and a dream of a more sustainable future, we’re now supplying some of the UK’s most famous retailers like Boots, Waitrose and Ocado, not to mention sending our eco-friendly goodies to over 25 countries! We started with loo roll but now have a range from nappies to kitchen paper.

We’re on the lookout for a creative lead to join our marvellous Marketing team! Located by the River Thames in London, you’ll be surrounded by a bunch of passionate and fun-loving team members – and keep an eye on your biscuits, Colin the office Panda has a sweet tooth!

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and strategic thinker to handle our copywriting and creative while overseeing brand management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of brand development and strategy. As the creative lead, you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, developing innovative campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Copywriting and Content Creation:**

– Create engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including product descriptions, website content, social media posts, and advertising campaigns.

– Develop compelling brand stories and narratives that resonate with our target audience.

– Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and cohesive content.

2. **Brand Strategy and Management:**

– Develop and implement the brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all touch points and channels.

– Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to refine the brand strategy.

– Work closely with cross-functional teams to align brand messaging and positioning with overall business objectives.

– Manage in house content creation studio; oversee the creative process, from concept development to execution, ensuring high-quality and impactful deliverables.

– Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers as needed to enhance creative capabilities.

3. **Campaign Development:**

– Conceptualise and develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.

– Analyse campaign performance data to optimise future initiatives and achieve measurable results.

5. **Brand Communication:**

– Serve as the guardian of The Cheeky Panda’s brand voice, ensuring consistency in messaging across all communication channels.

– Collaborate with PR and communication teams to manage brand reputation and handle crisis communication effectively.

  • Creating newsletter copies, presentation materials to support sales team.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

– Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, and brand management, preferably in the consumer goods or sustainable products industry.

– Strong portfolio demonstrating successful brand campaigns and creative content across various mediums.

– Exceptional leadership and exceptional execution skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and collaboration.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

– Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media channels, and content management systems.

– Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly practices is a plus.
