ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the hunt for anΒ International Sales Manager.Β We are on a mission to aggressively grow our export sales and need a high performing individual to lead our fantastic international sales team. Working with our distribution partners we are looking to exponentially grow our business by focusing on priority high growth markets whilst also seeding our brand into markets with long term potential. The idea candidate will have a hands-on knowledge of key EU markets and a demonstrable record of successfully building brands across all trade channels. Knowledge of the Italian, Austrian and Eastern European markets would be highly beneficial.

This role sits in the HQ Beer business reporting to the International Sales Director and works in close conjunction with the wider Commercial and Brand Marketing teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, managing, and executing our International Sales Strategy to exceed agreed KPIs
  • Shaping & delivery of international brand plans by working collaboratively with our Brand Marketing team and our local distribution partners
  • Leading and developing our high performing international sales team
  • Distributor evaluation and management to ensure market opportunities are maximised and our unique brand is brought to life locally in a way consistent with our core brand principles
  • Focus to our priority, high growth EU markets through hands-on involvement with distributors & retailers
  • Full P&L management to exceed agreed sales & profit objectives
  • Raising brand awareness in key markets by working collaboratively with our partners to grow physical distribution and brand visibility through effective marketing plans
  • Working collaboratively across key Brewdog teams to assist in leading the international sales agenda and ensure all departments are aligned in supporting the international sales strategy

Location is flexible – UK or Europe – with travel expected as part of this role

 

ABOUT YOU

  • World class communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • +3 years plus experience in export sales and distributor management
  • Experience with major off-trade retailers across Europe
  • Hands on knowledge of the Italian market and the ability to communicate in Italian and English are required. German language skills would be advantageous also not key.
  • Strong excel skills with the ability to story tell from large data sets such as IRI, Nielsen or depletions data.
  • Willingness to lead from the front and have a hands-on approach
  • A dynamic, high-energy individual, who relishes working in a fast-paced environment and disrupting markets
  • Undeniable passion for beer
