ABOUT THE ROLE

The fact you’ve made it this far hopefully means that you’re somewhat interested in what we have to offer… great! Lets get into the specifics of the role.

This is a super exciting role, being part of the Global Bar Marketing team and driving our 115 bars around the world. Directly reporting into our Marketing Director, it’s a senior role that has a ton of impact on how our brand is seen and interacted with both inside and outside of the four walls of our bars/pubs. This role will help set out and deliver our brand and marketing vision for Global marketing campaigns. Through on and offline campaigns, they will continue to build BrewDog’s image ensuring that the brand remains the core driver of the company’s growth.

It is important for the successful candidate to be an effective and credible collaborator, working hand-in-hand with a wide set of stakeholders within the business. They must be comfortable selling in creative and marketing campaigns to senior stakeholders, in particular, the food and ops teams as well as wider global functions.

Ideally you will be based in/around London with access to the city on a regular basis being required.

Just like our beers, it’s pretty difficult to put into just a few words how varied this role is, but here we go:

  • Drive our BrewDog Bar marketing strategy globally resulting in exposure, engagement and footfall to our bars.
  • Manage the comprehensive global content calendar with a defined set of objectives.
  • Ensure articulate briefing to global bar teams for big bar campaign initiatives
  • Manage our external design agencies, ensuring the design is representative of the brand and marketing objectives
  • Organise, structure and build stand-out marketing content through photography, design and videography, to meet business objectives.
  • Drive the set central email marketing calendar, aligned to the central Bar Marketing Strategy
  • Alignment and collaboration with the Global Bar Marketing teams focuses
  • Work closely with the wider BrewDog Central Marketing Team to collaborate on industry beer-leading initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the food and beer teams, interpreting product strategy into marketing outputs.
  • Constantly seek new opportunities to create valuable, relevant content and stimulate customer conversations around BrewDog’s core brand stories to drive our bar global sales and customer awareness. BEER – PEOPLE – PLANET
  • Leading Marketing Maverick training and social media local strategy

ABOUT YOU

Ideally you will have experience within the hospitality sector to understand the quirks and kinks of what this world offers. Bringing with you experience from elsewhere as a Marketing Manager would also be beneficial as we look to inject new ideas and insight into our exciting brand.

You’ll have…

  • An understanding of multiple channels to drive sales and build engaging campaigns that gain traction with consumers and customers alike.
  • Experience of delivering online and offline marketing campaigns across all channels, will have experience in campaign planning activity across a multitude of channels. Ideally will have had previous account handling experience with agencies to ensure successful relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of how to measure marketing performance and ROI across a variety of channels from brand awareness to sentiment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus under pressure.
  • Sound creative judgement.
  • Experience  in manging your own diary and calendar. You’ll be driven, proactive and resilient. An ability to manage your projects is vital.
  • Business-focused with an entrepreneurial mentality.
  • Experience within hospitality – not just as a customer but within marketing ideally.
