About the Team

As a global technology company, Envato’s customer acquisition efforts play an essential role in connecting our products with potential customers around the world. We are looking for a hands on Senior Performance Marketing Specialist, with solid analytical skills and extensive knowledge of leading ad serving platforms.


About the Role

The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the performance marketing space, along with experience in building and optimising campaigns, analysing large amounts of data and meeting ROI targets. We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record of executing successful data-driven marketing strategies. Please note this is a hands-on role and does not have any direct reports. Please note for this role we are only looking for someone who is based in Melbourne.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, optimise and scale effective paid campaigns
  • Extract, manipulate and analyse large, complex data sets
  • Analyse data, identify trends, and use those insights to highlight opportunities and issues
  • Conduct tests using consistent methodologies in order to improve performance
  • Identify new and innovative growth opportunities to deliver on target ROI in multiple markets and languages
  • Present and report insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage performance metrics and budget tracking while ensuring benchmarks are established, lessons are learnt, and growth opportunities capitalised


About You

  • Melbourne based
  • Extensive hands on experience in performance marketing and working with large budgets in an online-focused company
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel (functions, pivot tables, graphs), and if you have exposure to SQL, Tableau or other data/visualisation tools, that’s a bonus!
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, finance, IT or related discipline will be highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Understanding of concepts like ROI optimisation, LTV and churn
  • Self-driven and proactive approach towards achieving goals and targets.
  • Possess a can-do attitude, taking initiative and displaying a strong sense of ownership and accountability in driving different initiatives. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
