Where do we work?

Wherever you are most productive. Either the main office in central Farnham, Surrey or at home. Our current team come into the office at least once a week to keep team dynamics healthy and there will be travel into London and other UK client locations too.

As part of the Mesh team (described here on in as a ‘Meshling’), you will be spearheading the sales effort. We are looking for a self-starter and motivated professional with proven leadership and management experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets. Your duties will include designing strategic sales plans, opening doors to key decision makers in tier one Developers and Architects, closing big ticket sales and staying ahead of competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

 

What are my responsibilities?

  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach commercial and domestic sales targets
  • Open doors to tier 1 Developers
  • Open doors to tier 1 Architectural firms
  • Identify and tap opportunities resulting from government funding for large-scale public sector projects
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
  • Take full responsibility for weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify high margin opportunities
  • Forecast sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Manage and grow internal and external sales team
  • Undertake strategic CPD presentations and talks

 

The technical stuff

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field
  • Over 10 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
